Daddy's Birthday, New Bed, Emily's Blessing & Park

A Birthday Picture with Dad and his girls. Brynlee got a BIG girl bed on Saturday. She was so excited and we took some cute video of her jumping and squealing. Another of Emily Brynlee was so excited to be on the swings again. I almost couldn't get her off! We also had Emily's baby blessing last Sunday (Feb 5). Again, Grandpa took all the pictures. No use in getting out my camera...right? Les and Cam took some great pictures too but I have to get them off the drop box. So something to look forward to in our next post! Emily was an angel the whole time and Brian gave a wonderful blessing. Thanks to the Astles (Grandma and Grandpa, Braden, Corey, Sydney), Harveys, Ericksons (Colin, Jean, Sven, Bobbi, Meagan, Kaitlin and Kayson) for sharing our special day and traveling to be here with us. We had so much fun!

Oh Emily

Brian got to come home early one day from work and we all went for a nice long walk. It was Emily's first experience with the stroller, and you can tell she loved it! And I mean Loved it! She slept most the time too. We have been having incredible weather. I hope every year is just like this one! Brynlee walked some but loves the umbrella stroller :) so she rode in that on our walk. Brynlee really wanted to hold Emily yesterday. She was so funny because she acted like it was no big deal until I said something. She was really cute and the Oh Emily video makes me laugh almost every time I watch it. Hope you like it too I brought in Brynlee's car seat to make the straps`taller and i found this after i put her down for a nap. Snowman

We got a little snow the other day and while I was out shoveling with Brynlee we decided to build a snowman. When I told Bryn we were going to build a snowman and I started to make a ball, she started to sing Popcorn popping. It was really cute. We gave our snowman a hat and carrot nose. After we were done building it we had to inside and Brynlee kept saying more more more. Inside we could still see our snowman and she will point out the window and say cold and sleepy (??). Cousins

We had a blast when Linda Lee, Lydia and Eli stopped by our house on the way to visit Lindsey. We hadn't seen them since July and it had been way too long! The kids had so much fun playing downstairs they didn't want to eat lunch. They would play go go (running), tunnel, Lydia taught Bryn how to do somersaults, hiding in the closets, balls, etc. Brynlee expecially liked Motor Boat that Lydia taught her. We have to play it ALL the time now :) All the kids would hold hands and play so well. When we asked to take some pictures they were pretty cooperative too. Brynlee even leaned into Eli one time. Thanks so so so much for stopping by Linda Lee. It meant so much to us and it was so great to see you! The other pictures are of Brynlee in a pony tail. She never lets me do this but looked so adorable. I said she looked like Mommy, but Brynlee said she looked like Aubrey :)

For Uncle Evan and Aunt Ann

Here are some pictures from today (January 15th) of Bryn and Emily. These are the dresses Evan and Ann gave them for Christmas. We love them and the girls looked adorable! They should be able to wear them for a long time but they looked perfect today too. They were all smiles before church and we had fun showing them off. Thanks Evan and Ann! Also, here are some pictures of Brynlee with the wrap. Lesley made me this wrap when I had Brynlee and I was wearing Emily in it around the house a few weeks ago and Brynlee found it and had so much fun carrying HER doll around in the wrap, just like Mom. Such a cutie!

Our girls have been growing too fast this new year (I know...we are only on day 10)! We sure have been having fun. We have been cooking, cleaning, visiting the library, playing and having ALL kinds of adventures! Take a look. Notice Emily is really starting to smile and it is so sweet. She LOVES when dads sings to her (HUGE SMILES) and will start frowning so big if he stops! Brynlee is talking more and more each day. She loves pointing at everything and saying "blue" to see what color it is. She loves to learn her ABCS and Count too. We couldn't ask for better girls.

Emily was doing Tummy Time and she was getting so much attention Brynlee had to show us she could do it too! She has been an AMAZING big sister! I was so nice to have extra hands and to bring the holiday spirit into our home! We enjoyed visits from Grandma Dalton, who helped out so much after Emily was first here. What a life savor! Then we were able to have Lindsey and Adam with their little girls Montanna and Eden. Then Grandma and Grandpa Astle came with Uncle Corey and Uncle Braden. You can see how excited Brynlee was about the Christmas tree they brought. I had to add these pictures because the expression on her face shows it all. On Christmas Grandma and Papa Dalton came and celebrated the evening with us. Brynlee has been so excited to spend time with her Grandparents and they are really starting to see her personality. She talks about her grandparents ALL the time. We can't sing a song without grandparents added in it (her nighttime song, bumblebee, etc). We loved all the Christmas presents we recieved and the girls have had so much fun playing with their new toys and clothes. Emily is one month old today and I can hardly believe it! She is a great eater and has such a wonderful spirit. We have enjoyed her so much and really love being the parents of two. Thanks for all the love you have shown our family. We are so excited that Emily Jane has joined our family! She was born on December 1, 2011 at 12:06 am. She was 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. We took her for her first appointment today and she is doing great! She now weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces. She is such a great eater and really a wonderful and sweet baby. Brynlee is being the best big sister. There is a lot of adjustment but she is handling everything well. She loves to hug Emily, watch her sleep in her bed, and help get diapers. Bryn feels like such a big girl because she gets to go and do things with Grandma and Daddy that Emily is not old enough for. It has been such a blessing to have Grandma here and both girls and parents appreciate all the help. We sure love having two girls!

12 Days to Go!

Counting today we have 12 days till our baby is due! Time has just flown but we are so excited for our new little girl. I think we have decided on a name but Brian and I think it's fun to keep it a secret till the baby girl is here! I hope you will find out soon! Here is a picture of what I look like now (38.5 weeks). If you catch me at home I am usually in sweats..why not...huh?

Here are some random pictures of Brynlee from the last few weeks. I definately need to pull out the camera more! Brynlee liked calling this scarf a hat and mom had to wear it too.

Brynlee is quite the helper around our house. Moving has made her LOVE cleaning, laundry, washing, and doing anything that Mom and Dad are doing. Including her favorite...using the screwdrivers! Here are some pictures of Bryn helping Dad clean our new vaccuum (Thanks Astles!!). The video is Brynlee washing the vaccuum...not much of a video, but she is pretty thorough.

Brynlee HATES this coat, but it is all I have right now, so she has to deal with it. I think it's funny she doesn't like it too much. We try and go out for a few walks even though the weather is getting a little colder. She is not as excited about her hat anymore but knows if she wants to go outside she has to have her hat. She looks cute in it too!

Our Favorite Things & Moving

We moved! Brian and I are now living on the opposite side of Idaho Falls than we use to and although it was a short move distance wise, we know we won't be back over to where we lived as often and visiting some of our "favorite things." Well...let me rephrase that...Brynlee's favorite things. Before we offically moved I took Brynlee around with the camera and took some pictures of the activities we did everyday and the things Bryn would always talk about. I also threw in some random pictures too. House pictures to come soon! And Halloween costume pictures coming soon!

We always stop by this tree to get a apple for dog (Oreo). The apples were getting pretty yucky but dog would still eat them. Brynlee would always laugh. She was in love with Oreo the dog. And it was so nice because it was like having a dog...without the care, food, money, etc. We just visited him everyday.

These are the steps we came up every day...multiple times. Brynlee learned how to climb up and down stairs here. Whenever we asked her if she wanted to move to a new house we would tell her she could have her own stairs INSIDE the house.

She would immediately ask us back...Doll? Wondering if doll could come. After we said of course she would always nod yes. She did this for a few straight days.

Hats and Halloween

Brian, Brynlee and I were all playing on the bed the other night with a hat and got some pictures of Brynlee enjoying the fun. She loves being on our bed and LOVES her hats. You can tell she is having a blast.

Some friends of ours gave Brynlee a whole bunch of clothes (Thank you so much Jensens!) and Bryn must know its almost time for Halloween because she got really excited for this shirt, which she wore today to visit Daddy at his work and eat lunch with him. I also had her hair in a pony tail, which I do quite a bit, but it only stays in well for an hour or two. Here are some pictures from today!

We knew Bryn would LOVE the bike because she always loves watching others biking. Brian took her on three long bike rides and she still cried when she was off. What a fun fun time.

Helping Mom clean some more and do laundry around the house. She is getting to be a pro. I will open up the dryer and she will grab all the clothes out like I do and place them on the floor to be folded. Then once I start putting them in a pike she grabs clothes and adds to the pile. Of course she loves to help Mommy put all the clothes away too. She is Mommy's little helper!

We have been "fall" cleaning a lot in our house. Bryn really likes to have her own cloth or cleaning supplies. She loved to be "down" in a lot of the drawers and thinks she is pretty funny. She even had a snack of fish while we were cleaning the stove (in the stove drawer).

Around Labor Day we went down to UT and visited with Brian's family His parents got a great cabin from some ward friends and we were able to enjoy a great long weekend! Bryn had so much fun playing with all the new toys and her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Bryn expessially liked Landon. Whatever Landon was doing, Brynlee thought she could do (climb on rocks, picking flowers on the hills, eating fruit.) One of my favorite pictures is the top one where you get to see Brynlee's cute smile. She was laughing at Landon while playing with a fan.

Brynlee LOVES bugs, and Landon found this horned toad. She really thought it was cool but wasn't sure about holding this one very long. What Bryn really loves to hold is LADYBUGS! We find them all over around the yard outside. We love bugs!

Another love of Bryn's....hats! Her favorite hat right now is a white bowl that fits perfectly on her head. She is our funny girl! Many more pictures to come soon!

Our Little Athlete

Bryn has taken after her parents and is always on the move. She is so active...and it shows! It seems like she eats all day to make up for it too. Brynlee's favorite place is the park. When I drive into the parking lot and she first sees the park she will start screaming and laughing. It is so cute. These pictures are all taken today (September 20) and she will be 15th months on the 22nd. She use to go down the slide the "right" way but saw another girl going down backwards and on her tummy yesterday and she is already a pro at it! What a fearless girl! She also loves the balance beam, cement curbs and monkey bars. She can hold herself up on the monkey bars for a few seconds too. She is AMAZING!!!!!!!!

We ALWAYS have to swing first at the playground. Bryn can't even look at anything else till she has been on the swing for a good while.

Church and Cooking

Here are a few new pictures from the week. Brynlee is Mommy's little helper and loves to cook! I posted a cute video of her "cooking" with Mom. Brynlee has also hit a growth spurt and is fitting into some more dresses. She loves shoes and was excited to wear her cute pink shoes from Grandma and Papa with her shoe dress. We are having so much fun with her!

A Few Saturdays ago Brian and I took Bryn to the Bodies Museum here in town. It was realy interesting and we had a good time getting out and doing something new. Bryn wasn't too impressed with the Bodies exhibit but loved the children's museum. She loved cooking in the teepee, seeing the fish, and playing in the beaver dam. They didn't allow cameras...so no pictures.

Later that day we washed the car. Brynlee loved this and also loved the bubbles and water. Last week we got Brynlee a "Big Girl" car seat...which she seems to love. She cried the first time she had to get out when I went Visiting Teaching. It sure will be nice! Enjoy the pictures!

I also forgot that I took Brynlee to the Greenbelt one day to feed the ducks and we had a blast! We have also been swimming a lot this summer so there are some more pictures!

Catch Up!

Brian and I got to take Brynlee camping with his parents this last weekend up at Palisades Reservoir. We have been so spoiled this summer taking advantage of time off and making sure we have made the most of it. It was great to catch up with Brian's parents, and brothers Corey and Braden. We had so much fun. The nights were freezing...which we didn't expect but we think it was because of a more mountainous setting and camping right next to a lake. Brynlee spent the first night with Mom in her sleeping bag and then the next night bundled up so much in her snow suit and layers upon layers of clothes. That second night she didn't wake up at all though. We spent the camping eating great food, boating, four wheeling and swimming in the lake. It was so great to spend all day outdoors and although it got cold at night it was hot in the days! Brian waterskied and rode the air chair. Braden was really good at the air chair too. We had fun watching and Brynlee loved riding in the boat. Brian had some cousins there too and an Aunt and Uncle so we had a great time seeing more family. What a great summer we have been having!

Brian had a work convention he went to for a Wednesday-Sunday in early August so I headed back up to Montana with Brynlee. We met Lindsey and her girls Eden and Montanna in Dillon and then all rode up together. It was fun to spend some good quality time with my sister. Brynlee did awesome too! She was so sad to say good bye to her cousins and grandparents at the end of the trip. We spent most of our trip playing with Papa and Grandma, swimming, and going to the park. We swam at Harry Horn and in Lakeside. The girls were so good and so cute and we loved every second. Papa and Grandma watched all the girls for an evening while Lindsey and I went out on the town and Brynlee did great after she got a good cry out. She loved giggling at Papa and Grandma. She loved playing on thier bed and taking baths in their big tub. I think she really enjoyed being away from Mom. She realized how much fun grandparents are. We need to keep visiting often!!! Thanks again Mom and Dad! We hope to come again soon! And thanks Lindsey for driving with us and bringing your girls. It made the vacation so fun!

The fourth of July this year was a blast and we were so blest and spoiled to have the Astle's come and stay with us. They drove very early in the morning to go hiking and spend the day with us! Thank you! It was Bryn's first big hike and we took her to Lower Palisades Lake and back which was about 8 miles. Everyone took turns carrying Bryn and she also hiked some herself. She loved the rushing river and the snacks. She also loved everyone elses lunch. We came back for a great BBQ dinner then headed out for the Melaleuca fireworks. The family played horseshoes and ate more food. We were stuffed! It was so great to share the holiday with family. We didn't take our camera on the hike so we will have to get some more pictures from Brian's Mom, Dad and brothers Corey and Braden!

We were able to spend some time with just the Harveys and my parents for a few days. It was so good for Brynlee to be around more people then just Mom and Dad. Although she is still a little shy she is getting better everyday and really really loved playing with all her cousins. Aubrey and her got along great and then when Lydia and Eli came she was so excited. She giggled so much when Lydia would "hide" behind the couch. She loved trying to give/show everything to Aubrey and Eli. Aubrey loved to do the same. What a great family we have. We sure missed the Parmenters!

Wednesday June 22nd was Brynlee's first birthday! I can't believe how fast a year really does fly by! She sure is growing up and really thinks she is such a big girl now. We celebrated Brynlee's birthday all week. We had cake, went to the zoo, opened presents every day and just had a blast. Here are a few pictures from Brynlee at the Splash Park and her birthday. She got a new pool, a toy boat for the tub, some clothes, kites, balloons, a horse from Grandma and Grandpa Astle, beautiful dresses..converse shoes...a nalgene bottle from Grandma and Papa Dalton. She loved opening the presents and feeding the paper to daddy and also loved eating the cake once she figured out what it was. We sure love our little girl!

Last Saturday (June 18th) we took Brynlee to the zoo. Our friends the Fuller's came along too. We are sure going to miss them when they move to FL in August! Brynlee and Enoch had so much fun looking at all the animals. There was a little bird right at the beginning they loved because the fence was just the right height. Brynlee really liked the animals. I think she liked the birds the best. She also loved the goats, camels, monkeys and all the displays of animals. She expessially liked the wood chips next to the pathways. Those are always a hit wherever we go! She is so funny with them because she will take a handful and either try to hand some to people or throw them on the sidewalk. So cute. It was hard to pull her away from them. The monkeys were really fun and seemed to love Enoch. Brynlee loved the picture of the bananas on the wall too. Brynlee had so much fun but we tuckered her out because she fell asleep in the stroller on the way back to the car. (Still missing a few pictures I will add later...my camera is being weird)

Saturday was a busy and fun day for our family. Brian helped serve an Elder's Quorum breakfast for the ward which was really good. Then we went with some good friends fishing past Terreton at Birch Creek. It was so great to be close to some mountains and have a campfire and just fish! Brynlee got so excited when she was the water and wanted to touch it. It was pretty cold runoff. She also couldn't stop playing with the rocks, exploring the campground, looking in holes, and eating tons of camp food. Her favorite part of the day was probably when Dad gave her the container of worms. She thought they were so fun and loved taking them in and out and even pulling them apart. What a silly girl. She sure loved getting messy then washing her hands in the creek. Brian caught the biggest fish of the day, while everyone seemed to catch some. It made for a great day and we can't wait to do it again!

Brynlee and I go for walks multiple times a day. This is just a snapshot of Brynlee on one of our daily walks. I think we are just starting out. Brynlee always has to find one rock to hold and then she is good to go anywhere. She won't drop that rock till she gets distracted back in the house. I guess we have a good rock collection starting in our house now.

Brynlee thought this tomato was an apple when I got it out so I tried giving her a piece to show her it wasn't an apple...thinking she would hate it. Instead, she loved it!

Last weekend our family was able to head down to Brian's parent's house to celebrate Braden's graduation. We had a great weekend watching Braden gradutate, playing in the parks, visiting and catching up with family, playing in the sprinklers, badmitten and so much more! It was so fun to see some sunshine and really enjoy the company of family. We also had a little party for Brynlee's birthday (June 22) where her grandparents gave her a cute little birthday book and little riding music horse. Brynlee had so much fun with the horse (and still is). She loves to push it all around the house and play the music while she dances. On Saturday, Brian's dad took some wonderful one year pictures of Brynlee. He is an excellent photographer and we were so grateful he was able to take the time to shoot some pictures. They are a busy family! Here are some of our favotites. Time really flies! I can't believe our little girl is almost a year old!

Brynlee and I headed to Rexburg last week to visit Traci and Enoch Fuller. They are some of our best friends and we had so much fun! We headed to Porter Park for a picnic. Enoch and Brynlee liked playing together...expessially on the swings. Traci took all the pictures and I stole them from her blog. She has an awesome camera and is a great photographer. Brynlee got to stay with Scott, Traci and Enoch on Friday while Brian and I went to the temple with his family. What a treat. Thank you guys so much!

We were also able to attend the Astle Reunion this last weekend. It was a blast and even though it was a bit cold we enjoyed every second. It was fun to be out in nature and to take so many walks and play outside practically all day! More pictures will come when I get some from Brian's Dad. When he's around it seems like I forget my camera because he is such a great photographer and is always taking pictures.

Brynlee turned 11 months old on Sunday. We haven't been taking as many pictures...but we should! I think they are just all over the place. Brynlee is a sweet sweet girl and we enjoy everyday we have with her. She is really starting to turn on her personality! Brynlee has learned to sign. SO far she can sign more, milk, food, puppy, and all done...with more coming everyday! She also thinks she is really cool when she walks backwards. What a trick! Brynlee loves to try new foods, expessially when she can eat them herself or Mom and Dad are eating different things. She is an excellent nap taker and does so well being put own for naps and bed. She says mama, dada, ba (for bath) and probabaly more things because she is contantly babbling. Brynlee's favorite things are baths and going outside, to the library or the store. Outside Brynlee loves the rocks, grass and expessially the trees. Sometimes we see puppies and kittens and that always makes our day.

Brynlee is definalty adventurous and she tries to push the limits. She will put blankets over her head and walk around the house. Same things with hats! She thinks its funny she can't see...until she runs into something. I guess she'll learn soon. :) She is almost always walking/running which makes the days fun and exciting. We love you little Bryn!

We ha so much fun seeing my parents, sisters and nieces when we traveled up to Dillon for Mother's day weekend. There was so much to see and do that we tired those girls out! We went swimming, played in the yard, visited all the animals, ate great food, and most of all just played! We han't seen LIndsey and the girls since last year and it was so great to catch up. Eden and Montanna have both grown so much! It is always great to see my parents and we miss them everyday! Thanks everyone for the great time. We love you all and miss you! Getting tired & Bathtime

Here are some picture of Brynlee in her Easter dress on Sunday. She was really intereste in being outside (as always)...so it was hard to get the "perfect" picture. We think she looks gorgeous anyways though. We are proud parents :) We had a great day. Brynlee loves church and seeing all the other kids. We also went on a long walk after her nap and church. She loves to point and scream at rocks, trees, dogs, dandelions and anything else she may find interesting (which is pretty much everything). We love our little outdoor girl!

I also added two new pictures from around the house. Bryn is such a happy girl and is really enjoying life and we are really enjoying her.

AN Egg! Once it broke apart, and Brian grabbed it to quickly put it back together and she wouldn't hear of it! We didn't want her to lose it but she though Dad was taking it! She really loved this egg.

We took Bryn to a little town Easter egg hunt. She absolutely loved it! It was at a little park, so before it started we walke about the park while Brynlee took her nap. They had different roped off sections for the different aged children. Brynlee was in the 0-4 group...which is a pretty big age difference. Brian and I decided we would try and get Brynlee at least one egg...and that was all it took. I walked with her up to some eggs and let her see it and pick it up herself. She was so excited and would not let go of the egg till we were back home for a while! She would hold up her egg for us to see, scream and talk to all the other kids, and of course, walk all around the grass checking everything out. She also found a blow up beach toy which she has had fun with. It was definately worth the one egg and she had so much fun. It was one of the nicest days we have had in ID so far so we spent a lot more of the ay outside...taking walks and playing with grass and rocks, and looking at trees.

I took a lot of pictures of Brynlee today because I realized that she stands 98% of the time, we hardly have any pictures of her standing and doing some everyday activities. She is getting so good at walking she thinks she can go anywhere. She still needs to pull herself up with something but always finds a way! Today she got really into helping Mommy make rolls. Her favorite part was watching them bake in the oven. Mommy promise she could have one for dinner and I think she ate more than that with Dad. She was so excited about them. She defianately takes after her parents in the bread eating department. I also added a few pictures of everyday life :)

Daddy always thinks of really cool things to do when he plays with Brynlee. Now, Bryn wants to play with her clothes whenever I try and get her dressed. She is so smart and never forgets anything. But she was giggling and throwing clothes and making a big fun mess! I guess we should go through these clothes...she can't fit in half of them anymore. She is growing up right before our eyes! I got a Kohls gift card in the mail for $10 off a purchase and they were having great Easter sales so Brynlee and I picked her out a new dress. You all should have seen her. Now whenever she sees the dress she has to hold it, hug it, and of course...happy scream at it. Its fun to get her dressed in the mornings because all you have to say (excitedly) is, "Brynlee, want to wear this?" and she gets all excited and talkative. So fun!

My grandparents were taking a road trip to visit tons of family and stopped by our town last Monday. Since they were staying in a hotel, we took Bryn swimming. She had lots of fun splashing and playing chase and getting warmed up by hot tub towels. Here are just a few pictures. Great Grandma and Papa brought Brynlee a book that she would not let anyone else hardly hold and still loves reading it. It had great google eyes that glow in the dark. Thank you guys!

This morning brought back many memories as I watched the Boston Marathon. I love running in Boston and visiting that amazing city. I WILL run that race again. It is definately worth it.

The best April suprise arrived at our house at seven o clock...my parents! I have been sick that we live only six hours away from them...yet hadn't seen them since Thanksgiving! It was making me anxious and we were so excited to open the door and find them outside! I could have started crying! Anyways, Brynlee sure misses them today. She loved to play with them. She learned some new tricks this weekend too. Grandpa would try and get Brynlee with "the claw" and once she figured out what he was doing, she would shake her head no as he was headed towards her with "the claw". It was definately a playful "no." She liked being by Mommy (that means we have to visit WAY more often). She loved showing off walking around the house and would hold thier hands. We went swimming at the pool where Grandma and Papa were staying. Brynlee giggled and splashed...but I think her favorite part was being wrapped in a hot tub warmered towel every few minutes. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for visiting. I will see if we got any good videos. Miss you guys already!

Brynlee turned nine months old on Tuesday and we went and visited the Doctor. NO shots this visit! So it was really nice and Brynlee is doing great! The doctor says she has some of the strongest legs he has seen! She wasn't the fondest of the doctor but we survived! Here are her stats:

Brynlee got her first taste of the park last Thursday and loved every second. Although it looks cold it was about 50 degrees with no wind! She would smile and beam going down the slides and thought she was so big. Her favorite park of the park was the swings and the slides. She liked to walk around too but got a little wet. It was fun to see Bryn smile a little and play outside since we haven't been out that much. Usually she just has big huge eyes and trys to take in everything she sees. She is learning so much everyday! She had fun playing with her cousin, Aubrey. They are about eight and a half months apart. We went to a little library right next to the park and the first picture is of the girls playing with the music button on the Exer-saucer at home. :)

Brynlee finally fit into her Christmas pajamas from the Parmenters and we thought they were so cute we let her wear them to church. There were some little girls about 3-5 years old sitting behind us and I heard them ask their mom why Bryn wasn't wearing a dress. Funny! She just looked too cute and we love them! Thanks so much...again!

Brynlee is starting to get up on her knees when she practices crawling around the house. When we sit on the floor by her she will try with all her might to stand up...or get us to pick her up :) She still likes walking around the house, the jumper, and playing with balls. Her favorite stuffed animal is Gus, her elephant. He can usually make her laugh. Bryn loves blocks and following mommy and daddy around the house.

Her newest trick is saying mamama all the time! So fun!

I attached a video for all those who haven't seen Brynlee crawl yet. She has been crawling for almost a month now! The day after Brian's birthday was when she really started. She is getting faster and better every day!

Brian will probably kill me for posting this (hehe), but Brian worked hard the last two months to lose weight. Well...he lost about 25 lbs, (most of it in January) and 12% of his body weight! Way to go! We are so proud of you!

Brynlee is completely mobile now, which is a relief to her Mom and Dad because she is so adventurous and always wanted to be everywhere and doing everything. Now she has the freedom to explore and she loves it! She is still army crawling and is getting really fast. She likes to get up on her knees a little too but hasn't really done much of that. When we let her, she love love love LOVES to walk around the house holdng hands. I think she would do this till her legs gave out.

I have to make sure our house is always clean because Bryn will find any little small crumb on the floor and try and eat it. She brings so many smiles everyday. We are serious when we say she loves hats. She will point at them till we put them on her head and then she smiles and thinks she is pretty cool. She loves looking at herself and talking in the mirror. She always thinks she looks so pretty in her dresses too. She is so cute.

We couldn't say enough about our little Brynlee. We love her so much! Smiles everyday! It can't get any better than that!

The little pink zebra dress outfit is from my Mom and Dad. We love it and I am sure Brynlee will be wearing it often! We got tons of compliments at church too! Her little boots in the picture our from our neighbor.

BYU-Utah Weekend

Brian & I wanted to post a few more pictures from our weekend in Utah. We don't get the opportunity to take as good of pictures with our camera, and had fun putting Brynlee outside in the grass...it was 55-60 degrees!!! I also suprised Brian with tickets to the BYU-UTAH game. I wanted Brian to be able to see Jimmer Fredette before he becomes a legend in the NBA (hehe). It was a lot of fun and Les, Cam and Aubrey came along too. We had fun spending time with Brian's family too. We spent one night with the Harveys and one night with the Astles. Brynlee was such a good girl and was all smiles the whole trip. We got to see Chris and Chrissy's new house too! Brynlee is getting bigger every day. She started crawling the day after Brian's birthday and is getting faster and better every day!

Bryn is so funny. She id DEFINATLY getting her personality. We love it. This weekend she was so funny it made us laugh all the time. She would be sitting somewhere in the room and see something she wanted (usually magnets on the fridge, pictures of herself, balls, toys) and she would do short screams, like a little puppy barking, till we let her see it. Sometimes we don't know what she is looking at and sometime she is just trying to get attention. Silly girl. Brynlee also had fun kicking a soccer ball in the house. She woul kick it to dad and giggle and laugh when dad kicked it back. She would also scream an laugh when she scored a "goal.

Brynlee "One Sock". Bryn pulls at her socks till she gets them out and then eats them. She is very determined with this too. Usually she only has one sock on the whole day because I get tired of putting them back on.

Bryn is taking after her Mommy and LOVES hats. Mom use to ewear hats every secon of every day growing up it seemed like and Brynlee loves it too. You put a baseball cap on her and she giggles and smiles like she is so cool. She will keep it on most the time till it falls below her eyes. My mission this week is to find a little Brynlee baseball hat (Mom still loves them too). In the pictures we found a little beenie she liked.

Brynlee is also out good little eater and eats anything we give her...if shes hungry. She is also "crawling" in circles and backwards, and has gone forwards a little be only if she really wants something, its like a forward roll side to side. I could go on forever!!!!! She is so adventurous!

Love you crib

So we have pretty much got rid of the pacifier but she is so funny when you let her play with it. Half the time this is how it ends up. She is pretty good at chewing on it and keeping it in that position. It always makes us laugh.

Seven months old! Today (Jan 22). Wow! I can hardly believe it. Brynlee's newest feats are reaching for toys and crawling in a circle (kind of, she goes around in a circle to get the toys all around her), standing in the crib, starting to try and crawl forward, eating new foods every day, smiling and talking more each day, or course sitting up, riding in the shopping cart, playing tons of peek a boo, beep beep (you'll have to ask), chase around the house, and her favorite room in the whole house is the bathroom. I think its because I sit her on the counter and she can get things out of the basket and look at herself. Today I stood her up in front of the mirror and she just wanted to touch herself in the mirror (she got so excited and was screaming).

Brian has added to her little umper swing and it bounces a lot more. She loves to be in the jumper and walk forward as far as she can. Brian also brought Brynlee home some balloons which she things are very cool. You can run her into them or bonk your head and she will start laughing. She LOVES Raggedy Andy...expessially when Mommy makes him have a low voice. She couln't stop laughing the other day. I loved it. She is also getting more and more interested in books, expessially ones with people and babies.

She is still doing good with naps (around 10 and 2) and only wakes up once at night just to fall back asleep usually (I stopped feeding her at night)! YEA!

She is doing great and sometimes it makes me sad to see her grow up so fast, but I am also excited each morning to see what she will learn each day.
